Personal Notes — Gac Nho Coffee, Da Nang
First impression
Walking into Gac Nho Coffee feels familiar but still stylish — youthful yet refined. Natural light, a gentle coffee aroma, and background music that works for both focus and conversation. If you need a morning remote-work spot or an afternoon meet-up, the space makes it easy to stay longer than planned.
Space
Decor leans light with a touch of modern rustic: pastel walls, raw wood tables, and small art accents. Plenty of photo-friendly corners — especially a patterned wall with vintage sofa seating; morning light is great for flatlays. Large group tables plus solo freelancer spots with power outlets; Wi‑Fi was stable. Evening warm lighting suits a relaxed date night.
Personal take: works for work and chill; decor is photogenic without feeling overdone.
Drinks (focus)
I tried two signatures: a hot latte (milk drink) and cold brew. Both reflect a balanced, approachable style rather than extreme experimentation.
Latte
Served with clear latte art and a soft brown tone. Taste is balanced — coffee is defined but not harsh; milk rounds it with moderate richness. Foam is fine and smooth, not bubbly. Good for mornings or afternoons when you want a gentle milk-coffee drink.
Barista note (subjective): Staff said the latte uses Dalatmilk pasteurized fresh milk — their sharing, not independently verified by Living Da Nang. Reference milk retailers in Da Nang: dalatmilkshop.com · meijidanang.com.
Cold brew
Mature extraction profile: mild earthiness, long finish, low acidity, no harsh bite. Holds up with ice without watering down too quickly. A solid pick if you prefer black coffee you can sip slowly.
Pastries paired well with the latte — fresh, not overly sweet. Drinks felt consistent for both milk-coffee and black-coffee fans.
Quick notes (personal view)
One visit — not a scoreboard or shop ranking:
- Space: Photo-friendly, good natural light, quiet enough to focus.
- Price: Mid to slightly above typical local cafes — check your budget.
- Service: Friendly baristas; willing to suggest drinks based on my preferences.
If you want a morning work session, afternoon catch-up, or flatlay photos, Gac Nho Coffee in Da Nang may be worth a visit — my experience, not the only option in town.
